Our Mission

Why choose Valley Christian School?

With so many educational choices available to families, this is a valid question. The answer is simple. Because we put God first. Our faith and belief in Christian education drive everything we do and every decision we make here at Valley Christian. Our curriculum is based on the truths found in God’s Word; every effort is made to bring these truths into the classroom. All extracurricular classes are another opportunity to express and demonstrate Biblical principles. Our commitment to incorporating these principles drives us to raise the academic bar and provide opportunities for students to excel academically while learning about God, growing in their faith, and finding their God-given purpose. Colossians 1:18 “…that in all things He might have preeminence.”

Why should you consider Christian Education?

The influence of secularism and the intolerance of religious freedoms makes it impossible for God’s Word to be taught as truth to children in public school. Christian education is more than the belief that education should and can be filtered through God’s Word, it is a movement that supports Biblical values and morals as the standard for teaching and school culture.

VCS Mission Statement:

Valley Christian School exists to partner with Christian families who desire educational excellence, taught through a Biblical worldview, so their children will be prepared for a lifetime of authentic faithfulness and service to Jesus Christ.

Valley Christian School exists for the following reasons:

To provide an excellent academic education throughout which He (Jesus) is always preeminent (Colossians 1:18).

To provide an educational experience in which the spirit of each child is challenged by the truth of God’s Word.

To provide an environment where love comes from the Spirit and springs from the Hope we have in the shed blood of Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God.

To prepare young people to live in this world without being part of this world (1 Thessalonians 5:20-22, 1 Peter 5:8).

To challenge each child to hide (memorize) God’s Word in their heart (James 1:25, Psalm 119:11).
